I'm so excited about vacation. The packing part--not so much. I've been procrastinating, but my time has run out. I'll be spending the next few days cleaning house, doing laundry, and packing. I'm sure I'll forget something, but I'm so ready to get out of town and take a break. Although, the decision to go to South Texas during the hottest part of the summer does make me wonder what on earth we were thinking. <--I laughed at that just now.
I did want to share some books. I'll be writing on the way to my vacation destination, but I hope to have some time to read too. Anyway, hope you all have been having a great summer.

Whew, this year is going by fast. Or is it just me thinking that. My oldest daughter will be turning fifteen in November, and I keep thinking, "Man, wasn't she five, like, two days ago?" My friends keep teasing me that she'll be driving age in another year. Jokes on them! They'll be sharing the road with her.
At the end of this month, we'll be going on vacation to Dallas. We'll be hitting up Medieval Times, Six Flags, and then a few other things. It's the first vacation in five years and we're so excited. Do any of you live in Dallas? What fun things do you do there? I'm a foodie and so is my ten year old. Any good sushi places? My youngest and I love sushi! Anyway, I mostly wanted to say hi and thanks for the support on my last release. You've made it successful and for that I'm super grateful. Hope your summer has been a blast so far and continues until school starts. School...goodness gracious. Time just needs to slow down! |
