![]() Oh my goodness, what a week. And just like that, I’m almost looking at April in my rearview mirror. It just doesn’t seem like it should be the end of April. For goodness sakes, it was January 1 yesterday. Am I right? Time needs to slow down. I have books to write and there aren’t enough hours in a day. So, about Mason’s story. I tried ya’ll. I did, but it just wasn’t working. The story wasn’t flowing. It was choppy and not what I wanted. At this time, I’m setting it aside, working on something new, and I’ll return to it later. I’d rather it be postponed and great than rushed and terrible. You deserve better from me. So does Mason. As it is, I do have a book coming in June. It was with an agent for a while and I took it back. I love this story. Like love it. Partially because I love red hair, the name Angus, and Scotland. But mostly...the name Angus. Now, your probably thinking, Angus + Scotland = not a leap, but that’s not why I named him Angus. MacGyver’s first name was Angus. I loved that show and Richard Dean Anderson. I still do. (In the middle of my backswing?!?!-Stargate SG-1.) This new series will be three books following the MacLachlan Brothers, Angus, Rory, and Taran. A trilogy of clean Scottish Billionaire romances that I hope you’ll love. I’m also in the plotting stage of a six-book Christian Cowboy Billionaire series—Bear, Josiah, Hunter, and Wyatt, The West Brothers. My hope is to write these along with a couple other billionaire stories coming in August. At least, that’s my tentative plan. I’ve missed the Billionaire stories. Suspense is great for a little while but there are times when you just need to float along with something happy and sweet. No running or dodging bad guys required.

It's Easter weekend. Time for egg hunts, sweet baked ham, and cute little girls in their dresses and little boys in their suits. Cause let's face it, clothes are so cute this time of year.
I love Spring. I think that's why April 25th is the perfect date. ;) I love the evenings when it's cool enough to keep the windows open and the cool breeze blowing in. My absolute favorite. Doesn't hurt the electricity bill either. My week has been fast and furious. Between getting my car fixed after my fender bender and setting up everything for my youngest's birthday party, the days just zipped by.
The youngest is super excited about celebrating this Sunday. She wanted her birthday party at our home with a bounce house and a dinosaur cake. That's a reasonable party if you ask me. She's invited her best friend. A little boy she's known since kindergarten and they just love each other--have since they met. I don't know if you've read Her Second Chance Billionaire Sweetheart, but I modeled Grayson and Emma's relationship after them. I think relationships like that are special. And if you knew my youngest, you'd know she takes special care. She's a creative like me. Only, she takes it to the next level. Drawing, clay modeling, costumes… this girl is into all of it. Game development, even. And as a creative, she's sensitive and rather dramatic at times. HA! I hope you guys have a great weekend, filled with plenty of relaxation. I don't know about you guys, but I'm going a little stir crazy. I've been writing, putting puzzles together, and eating too much junk food.
There is some exciting news! I'll be moving...next week. I'll have a space for an office, a closet (oh, my stars--so excited) and a fireplace. I love it! I'll maybe do a live stream after we close, to give a tour. I'm not sure how interested you guys would be, but I'm so excited to have a spot to write where it's quiet. I envision it being wonderful. it was my baby's eleventh birthday this past week. Man, time is flying like nobody's business. One second she was this wee thing at seven pounds, five ounces, and now she's this big girl with my sense of humor and craziness. She's also wonderful. Life would be dull without her.
