Marrying the Matchmaker
Fake Marriage Romance, #4
Hi ya'll,
Well, November went out with a sneeze and some coughing. I don't get sick often, but when I do, it's usually a sinus infection.
I know, I know. I'm so lucky. Not.
I'm drinking lots of water and orange juice. Hopefully, it'll run its course pretty quick and it'll be done. We'll see. Most of the time, I sound like a frog throughout the winter.
Okay, enough about the nasal ick. It's time for the next installment of Good Grief, Bree.
This week, it's Marrying the Matchmaker.
This wasn't an easy book to write. It had my nemisis trope, second chance. We all know how well I do those.
No, I don't think it's a terrible book. I actually love it. Another established fact about me, I like the sweet, silent type. Gustaf Grant fills those shoes. (Plus, he's modeled after my favorite actor, Zachary Levi.) :)
I love him. Sweet and kind, patient and forgiving.
One of the complaints was that Peyton was too blind to his feelings.
I agree.
If I could do it over again, I'm seasoned enough now, that I'd give a deeper reason for keeping them apart other than overhearing each other. Overall, though, I loved the two characters. I loved their friendship. I loved how they protected each other. I loved their love story.
It's the busy time of the year, so you've got five days to grab this one. It should be free by the time this newsletter is sent out. If not, it's on Amazon. Because I'm in Kindle Unlimited, Amazon allows five free days each quarter, and all I do is select the dates, not the time. Here's to hoping it works correctly.
Well, that's it's for me this week. I'm going to get back to my read through of Walker.
Guys, I think this is the best one yet. I love this book. I love Walker and Kait. I think you all are going to love it too. At least, I sure hope so.
Okay, I'm calling it. You all have a great weekend, and I'll see you next week.
XOXOXO,
Bree
