Noah
Army Ranger Romance, #1

Anyway, I didn't exactly plan to write a romantic suspense series. It sort of just happened. I've said it before, but I'm not a criminal mastermind, and the only deterent I need to avoid crime is prison. There will be no frisking or body cavity searches for me, thank you very much.
I will admit, it was fun writing this book. Noah's brother, Zach first appeared in the fifth book of my billionaire series. (Another thing I hadn't planned was to have siblings in different series, but it sort of just worked out that way.)
This was a serious edit as well because of my zero-frisk policy. There were things Noah needed to be doing that didn't even occur to me until my editor got her hands on it, so, thank you to her for trying to make me sneakier.
The romance between Noah and Mia was incredibly easy to write. They just fit, and the story flowed. It's one of my favorite stories because of that. It really makes the process easy when it feels like the book is writing itself.
Mia was a fantastic character and perfect for Noah. When I was a kid, I'd watch Hart to Hart with my mom and I loved the idea of women working with their husbands. Mia was a computer nerd and what security firm doesn't need a tech whiz. Plus, Ryder needed someone who spoke his language.
Noah was a complex character. The heart of a hero. I have a lot military service in my family and I have respect for the military. I see these folks as the type to walk toward danger. Those with a lion's heart. They're special. And, I tried my best to honor them and their service while writing my military series.
This book was another step in making me fall in love with the Wolf family. These guys were wealthy, but money didn't make them happy, their relationships did. One of my favorite characters of all the books I've written is Britney Wolf. I love her, and I'll gush about her when I finally get to Hendrix.
Anyway, maybe that gives a little insight to me and the story.
