Her Secret Billionaire Roommate
Her Billionaire Romance, #6
Hope your week has been great. I’m not feeling awesome. It’s been a sleep-struggle week with a side of headaches, and so this week’s Good Grief, Bree might be short.
There’s a story behind this one. I wrote it before I wrote Her Stranded Billionaire Mix-Up., got to the end, and didn’t like it. When I mentioned it to my editor, she convinced me to send it to her. She liked it, so I ended up publishing it in January 2019. Side note: There's a cozy mystery I've written but never released too.
I honestly don’t remember the reviews for this one. By that time, I’d published I think ten books, and I’d learned I couldn’t please everyone. My visibility had grown as well, and some of those reviews could hit hard, especially when they were directed at me instead of the book.
As far as parts of me being in the book, Livy very much embodied me. Typically, I worry about everything, and I leave most conversations wondering how or if I’ve said something wrong. She was always waiting for the other shoe to drop, and I’m like that too.
I loved Gabe, and I loved his family. His mom. Oh, I loved her. Side note: I modeled her after my real estate agent. She’s a gorgeous, petite, classic southern belle type lady. Very down to earth, sweet, and I just love her.
Anyway, I know this one is shorter than the last few have been. Honestly, I think the others might have been too long. Maybe this evens them out. Ha.
Well, that’s it for me this week. You all have a great weekend, and I’ll see you next week!
