Mine could have been better. We had a loss in our family this past weekend. Our kitty, Joey, walked over the rainbow bridge unexpectedly. Needless to say, there were buckets of tears and I'm misty just typing this out. He was a sweet kitty. I will miss his bushy black tail, the way he talked to me, and even the times he'd bite my ankles when I wouldn't give him a raw egg (the brat would beg for them and then not eat them.) We loved him. He was a member of our family. He is, and will be missed for a long time.

It's been a busy month here, but I wanted to take a moment and say thank you. Thank you for reading my stories. Without you, they'd just sit there all sad and lonely.
Seriously though, it's because of you my husband will no longer be a retail manager. After fifteen years, today is his last day, and without you, that wouldn't be possible. My two little girls are getting their dad back and for that I'm eternally grateful to all of you. Ugh. I hate crying, but that's what I'm doing. I'm sitting here bawling. I took a few hours away from work today to buy strawberry topped cheesecake to celebrate tonight. So, you may not be here in my home, but know that tonight, you will be thought of and know that you made a difference in my family. All of us--my girls, my husband, and I are grateful. XOXOXO and all sorts of thank yous |
